Educating the Next Generation

i.Phonics is founded by a Sarawakian (Malaysia) who grew up in Singapore since age 3.

She graduated with a degree in Facilities Management and another one in Mass Communication; and have been working in the project industry prior to taking up additional diploma in Early Years’ Enrichment Education (awarded by The London Teachers Training College, UK) and embarked into the education sector a couple of years back.

She is also a certified trainer in Phonics, Speech development & creative drama, as well as Music & Movement.

How i.Phonics Can Help Your Child

Our phonics workshop is designed to enhance your child’s phonemic awareness using structured curriculum.

Phonemic Awareness

Phonics instruction teaches children how to decode letters into their respective sounds, a skill that is essential for them to read unfamiliar words by themselves. It helps children to hear, identify and use different sounds that distinguish one word from another in the English Language. Keep in mind that most words are in fact unfamiliar to early readers in print, even if they have spoken knowledge of the word.
